This park is just 1km from the center of uruapan main plaza. Every one had told me about this tropical park full of subtropical foliage and full of birds and butterflies. The river stars in a very quit pool (Rodilla del Diablo) then as under ground water miraculously flows from the rocks then the rivers speed builds up as it bubbles over boulders, then cascades waterfalls getting bigger and faster as it flows to the city reiver, crystalline pools. It was hear when i met a man who was going to dive into the extreme rapids, I thought he must know what hes doing, but then I thought he’d killed himself ;-/ The cobbled paths with a few fruit stands and taquerías follow the riverbanks from the river’s source at the icy-clear Rodilla del Diablo pool, near the park’s north end.
